Well, besides adventure and physical exertion-

unemployment and sore muscles.

Floating. I like the floating. It is almost as if I am stepping outside of time. There are times when I ski that I can stretch a moment so far that I get a glimpse of eternity. Hearing stillness. The feeling of gravity bearing down on me in a turn, then releasing me to float. People giggling, I can hear it, their own souls poetry given to the wind. Its a good thing to hear. It helps me deal with the things I have to deal with, because it is such a gratifying escape.

I get an adrenaline rush, the best thing ever, better than drugs, I live for adrenaline. It's also hella fun and the chicks are like wow he's good.

Ask not what you get out of skiing, but what skiing gets out of you.

"I didn't get nothin, I had to pay $50. to get on the lift".

Something like that.
