Thank You for the welcome.
I don't call Sun Valley home, but many of my family lived in Ketchum and
I skied Baldy as a kid on vacations.
I grew up in the east, Maine-ly.

Ketchum is where Ernest Hemingway committed suicide. Is there any relation to his family? You like Majito's?

BTW, welcome to Epic!

Thank You for the warm welcome.

Are there many instructors on this forum?
What mountains are various Epic skiers from?

You will find some of the best Instructors in the country post here. Check out the epic ski academy for a list of some of people.
My Home mountain was Park City Mountain Resort. My new Home is a mountain slightly north that shall remain nameless. Oh what the h*ll , the place has been discovered. My new home mountain is Snowbasin.

I'm pretty new here too, didn't think about introducing myself, good thought.

I am a full-time ski nerd at Mammoth Mountain, CA. Worked this last season at June Mt and right now quite bummed I didn't have enough money to go back to New Zealand.

What about yourself? I see you spent some time in Maine, I worked at Sugarloaf for a few years.

Glad you feel welcome!

There are many instructors who post on this forum. You will find a lot of quality information in the Ski Training Forums

That's a pretty big answer. If you can imagine that it can be skied on, you will find someone on Epic who skis it.
Look in the specialty forums for back country, travel and trip reports.

thanks, nolo. i was wondering who lewis and clark has as its season opening opponent. i foresee the pioneers handling the oxymorons (?) handily.

Hemingway, Mt. Baldy, Southern California representin'.

I am familiar with Mt. Baldy II. Southern California is underrated and beautiful

As long as we're doing introductions, I'll say hi too. I read this forum all season last year and learned a ton. Right now I'm particularly enjoying the DIN range / setting thread - it's good to see such a heated debate and it only is an indicator of passion. I like that.

Welcome Agent too.

A heated debate on DIN range is also an indicator of a serious lack of snow...

Welcome Hemingway, agent orange, mpmommy--not that I've been here all that many posts myself. Hey Ryan, sweet pic of Thunder (must not be from last year!), great to see another Baldy skier here (best mountain is southern CA!), we'll have to hook up IRL one of these days once it snows.
