Which Neox binding for Metron M:EX?

I just snagged a pair of 05/06 Atomic Metron M:EXs, flat. Need to get bindings. Which ones should I get?

Looking at the brake widths, looks like the 412 is the one to get since it's 99mm wide (the M:EX is 84mm at the waist). Is that the really heavy one though? Is the 2005/2006 one lighter? Or should I be looking at one of the other Neox bindings. The 614 looks like it's only 81mm wide.

Thanks in advance.

The 04/05 Neox 412's are about 500g/1.1lbs heavier per pair than the 05/06 412's. The weight of the 614's was never reduced like the 412's.

I've got the heavier 412's on my B5's & M:EX's. I've skied the later B5's with the lighter bindings & you can't tell the difference in use. If there's a difference in the price you'd only go for the dearer lighter bindings if you planned on hiking a lot.

You're right in that the 99mm brake is for the M:EX. I would assume that the 99mm brake also works with the 614 (but I'm not certain) but seeing as the 614 is apparently heavier than the old 412 then the only reason that you'd want the 614 would be if you needed those extra few DIN's.
