Buying the wife items for skiing always works out well in the end. Unless she gets so into it that she gets the powder before you do. :

Have a very happy birthday. You've certainly become one of the most frequent western skiers I know; especially for an eastern guy. I look forward to seeing you should fortune grant that our paths cross (perhaps in Tahoe). Have a great day, buy some gear, get a pass, plan a vacation.

The 1st one pays big dividends Scott and not much danger of the 2nd, although I can always hope.

Thanks for the greetings Cirque and I'll be out west for what looks like 27 ski days this season. I'll be busy in the "Meet On The Hill Planning" forum in no time at all

Well shoot I'm a few minutes late to get this in on your birthday, that's me a day late and a dollar short. Happy B-day, now you are 4 years older than me, until next month at least.

If you make it to Missoula I'd be glad to show you around, but one caution, I'm not very good about stopping on the way down the hill (ask Cirq), as I've adopted the Snowbowl philosophy, namely: There's plenty of time to rest and talk when you're riding the lift.

After skiing a couple days with Jim last season, I can assure you that won't be a problem.
