In the bargain barn…

Here’s the skiing specific stuff….

Below is the stuff that caught my eye but there’s tons more gloves, jackets, etc (especially for the ladies)...

My wife has these pants in the same color - they look great and they rock (they run a wee bit big)…

I wish they had those Teledaddys in an " adult size" Come to think of it, my bank balance is glad they don't.

i am calling all the short skiers I know..this is a great deal!!!
Can one mount the teledaddy's w/ a traditional downhill binding, or do they have to be run tele? i.e. can my wife use them as her "in-bounds" powder ski???
Utahskier, the Teledaddy is basically a rebadged Sugardaddy. I know of someone here that has a pair on the the way from this deal, and will be mounting with alpine bindings. That use is just fine.

time to make a purchase! do you think the 163's would run long enough for a 5'6" woman who weighs...135? (don't let that get out!)

I'll second that....my wife has a pair with salomons. Great ski.

There is a coupon code:

Less 10% off coupon code: LACPN62 (valid for 10% off any order totalling $125 or more)

That will make this cheap deal even cheaper. Keep in mind, this is getting to be so cheap, you can afford to make a mistake. You don't like the ski, resell it for at least what you spent. No guarentee on the coupon code, but its a nice bonus if it works. I think the ski length is fine. Sort of depends on her skiing style.

Thanks! Coupon code works, just put it in when you checkout!

Pst!
I'm 5'6", 130lbs, and I got the T-D's in 163. Between Phil and Cirque, I'm convinced I am going to love them. I am planning on an alpine binding. (I'll post when I get the binding picked out)

Your wife and I will have to compare notes.

Trekchick & Utahskier

Atomics sizing guidelines for the Janak which replaced Teledaddy (same dimensions, slightly softer):

http://www.atskis.com/html/sizing_at..._telemark.html

fwiw - One small concern of mounting alpine bindings on tele ski's is the warranty. A ski shop and Atomic both informed me that Atomic does not honor the warranty unless tele bindings are mounted on tele skis and Alpine bindings on Alpine skis - its very rare that this becomes an issue and for this price, who cares

Also, the turning radius on the shorter lengths is ~22m verses ~28m...should be a fun ski!

If anybody is still looking...they jacked the price back up. Still good, but not phenomenal. The other atomics are moderately priced, but better deals probably exist!

Glad I bought them last night for my girl then!!! Can't beat a pow ski setup for $175! (got some Solly 810's for $25 too)

Have you got your TD's yet?
I got a shipping confirmation, saying they would be here on Friday but they aren't here yet.
Okay, Okay, its not like I can use them right now. But this is like Christmas and I just can't hardly wait.

For some reason, the order did not go through! I got a message from them two days ago saying "the item at the size and price is not available. You can purchase them at the current price." Hope you like your pair!

weird. my wife isn't too crushed, she was kinda skeptical about the "tele" on the ski, go figure. Now I can afford my new boots.
