I bought a GT Windstopper North Face Fleecejacket 6 years ago and use it mainly under a hard shell jacket for skiing at around -5 degrees Celcius (23F). I am wondering whether I should get one of the new soft shells this season and have already had a look at a few. I cannot quite see much of a difference between my old one and the new ones? Please give me a good reason why I should buy a new one. are the new materials so much better than GT Windstopper?
