Chicks with Quivers

Okay Girls, time to list them all!

In another thread, it was suggested that men need more skis than women because of thier size. A woman can get away with a One Ski Quiver, because they tend to be lighter, and get more float, and finess out of a ski.

I, for one, like being able to alternate skis depending on conditions and mood. I am sure I am not the only Chick with a quiver.

Mine:
Metron B5 162cm
Volkl Platinum P50 173cm
Volkl P50 SC 156 cm
Two skis in my near future:
Bump specific ski
Atomic Snoop Daddy's

I refuse to be blamed for this!

O.K., my oldest daughter has two: 150cm Atomic SL 9'16 & 165cm Fischer Big Stix 7.2.

My second daughter also has two: 160cm Atomic GS9 & 165cm Fischer Big Stix 7.2

Cheers,

Michael

Bumps + hard snow - 170 Volant Super Carves

Powder + crud - 168 Volant Chubbs

All Mountain - 170 Rossi T3s (same as B2s only slightly softer, but not as soft as the women’s B2 model)

Backcountry - 167 K2 Dawn Patrols

and she rips on all of them!

I found out that it's not easy taking pics in the attic.
I also forgot that I still have the Volkl 724 motion's 170cm
They are fun to ski on, but I've barely gotten on them since I got the metrons.

I don't have a quiver. I feel so........so.......

I just bought One Luv's.
Bonni, don't feel bad. You can't buy a turn. As one of the best skiers I have ever known was fond of saying when talking about new skis, "It's the singer, not the song," and I have a suspicion that you can really sing when you get on your One Luvs.

My wife is a "one ski woman". Loyal, commited and one minded. Multible times I have suggested bringing other skis into her life, but she was not open in experimenting. When she does switch to a new ski, the old ones are discarded.

We are a tad different in these practices .

I can't even afford a girlfriend, let alone buy her a quiver...

My mother has 2 pairs of Rossi's and a new pair of Volants. Not too bad. Except she also has about 9 jackets, I think 3 that match each pair of skis.

I predict this thread will win the annual "Best Title Award" from Epic.

Cheers,

Can you have a "quiver" of ski jackets? My wife, who has skied for 40 years, can not understand why anyone would want or need more than one pair of skis but she'll match jackets, tops, pants and other softgoods with anyone on the planet!

My 23 year old daughter's quiver:

161cm Salomon Spaceframe 1080s
168cm Volkl Gotamas
174cm Volkl Queen Attivas

As you can see, it is lacking anything under a 80mm waist and she doesn't care.

Most of the guys that ski have a hard time keeping up. If they can she takes them into the moguls where few can.
