The existence of these skis mocks my geographical reality. Grea t deal for someone who can use them.

Took me about that long to decide.

Thanks Gotama, well spotted!

Hopefully this will work for tahoe next season when I move to the Bay.

99 waist might be a bit of a culture shock tho since the rest of the quiver is almost all race skis at 65ish waist :

Size choice for Elan 999

Does 181 ski shorter because it is a twin tip?

I ski on 180 volkl explosiv's --is this comparable in size?

My all mountain ski is atomic rex 177.

5 feet 9 inches, 158 pounds.

Thanks,

Larry

Yes and they are really soft, it's a pure powder ski. Since you already have the explosives, I would only go for the 181 if you were planning on noodling some really tight trees.

I really thought this would be a "Steepandcheap" type deal and would be all snapped up quick. Either they have a ton of them, or it wasn't that great of a deal. All I know is, mine have been shipping.

RipStick still available

Thank you all for the lead on the RipSticks. I just ordered a pair of 178s. This is a great deal; can't wait to use them.

Good God this is hard! These would be perfect for a BC ski, but I really can't afford them now, but I could buy them anyway, but that would be foolish because I'm in too much debt, but I really want a fat pair of skis for the BC, but I promised myself I wouldn't buy skis until at least September, but, but, but..........:
Mine just arrived. They ARE soft have a huge turned up tail. I am wondering if I should gotten the 191's. Might have to get another pair.
If you get another pair....do you plan on keeping those or will they both count toward the 5.5 over under on skis you own this year? I should have voted over....

I think the next pair will count, but the over/under is in addition to the ones he just received. Right Phil?
Yes.
I still should have chosen over...
