First of all, I'm a big beer fan after skiing. But, the question is: What is your favorite cocktail after a day on the slopes?

Don't want to hear about beer or wine.....

I remember a Warren Miller Flick describing the official drink of skiing as the Rehydrator: Shot of Tequila chased with a Gatorade.

I prefer what I have heard called many different names, my friends and I call it the Misdemeanor; Red Bull and Vodka, because if you have more than one, you will get one!

If it's cold, there's nothing like a coffee and Baileys or even better, hot chocolate and rumple mintz.

I know you asked not to mention beer, but if i'm sweaty, there's nothing like a cold Fat Tire Ale. Sorry I didn't stick to the subject.

I'm more of beer after skiing person and ususally not too much of that since I have to drive home......but.......

If I wasn't driving I think it would have to be a Face Plant - Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Schnapps and a floater of 151. Yum, Yum.

If I was in an upscale lodge I would order a Knob Creek perfect Manhattan (with a cherry).

A blastaway - half a pint of dry cider mixed with half a pint of Castaway (pineapple flavoured wine cooler) followed swiftly by a tactical chunder! :

I guess it depends where I am!
Val d'Isere: Pint of Red Eric (aka Liquid LSD) in Le Petit Danois, or the flavoured vodkas in the Pacific/Pub Morris
Saalbach: Jaegermeister Fluegl (3 Jaegermeisters + a splash of Red Bull) or a few pints of beer at the bar at the top of the nursery slope then give someone a piggyback ride down the slope (on skis in the dark)
Whistler: Belfast Car Bomb (1/2 pint of Guinness with a shot of Bushmills)

Mmm beer. Is there anything it can't do?

That's got my thirst up. I think I'll have an Espresso & Baileys now...

Hot cider and spiced rum with a cinamon stick!!! I think it's a hot apple pie.

I don't count cuz it would be beer.

But I gotta say, IRUL&UBLO, I dig your consistency. You know what you like.

right on padirtybird-- shots are intense after a day of skiing. Liquor would make me SO dehydrated after a day of skiing! I really would just want a beer!

I DO however, like the spiced rum & cider idea

You cheated--that's beer! Anyway, these are awfully hard to find in bars. You must keep one in the trunk of your car in a brown paper bag, eh?

A hand shaken margarita with a premeium Tequila, Cointreau, and fresh squeezed line juice, strained and served up. Salt only on the inside rim of the glass.

Mouth watering thinking about it, but it is too early in the day.

Do not include "BEER" , I'm sorry but I couldn't participate in any kind of survey if my true and honest statetments would be refused. Just imagine not including "BEER", next would be doughnuts!

Hey, anyone who doesn't include beer or wine must be a snowboarder, and we all know what we think of them

You can't go wrong with a Cote de Rhone.
