My daughter had a baby boy today, Phoenix Landon Johnson, at 1:30pm PST, by C section. He is 6 lb 6 oz, and is 19 inches long when they stretched him out.

Mother and baby doing fine. Grandma is a mess, and Grandpa is out golfing and won't know till he gets home.

WHEE!

Let me be the first Grandpa on this forum to say "Aaahhhhhhh."

You know what's strange? I got the call from her long time friend that she was going to surgery for the c-section at 4 pm. That's EST.

I had Ging by c-section at 4:05 pm.........July 1st!!!! Her birthday is tomorrow.

Kewl Bonni - Muy congrats!!!

So, what are you going to be?

Grammy?
Mimi?
Mamaw?

Be prepared to be flexible - my mom wanted to be "Gram", but my son stuck his own baby moniker on her and it has stuck ever since.

she is "Bing"

Don't ask - I don't know.

Wow! That's really something...too bad she couldn't have waited until tomorrow.

What a birthday present! Now she knows what she put you through 20 some odd years ago.

Seriously, I know you worry, especially since they are all the way on the other side of the country, but they will be fine.

hehehe...Did you buy the new house with more rooms and the possibility of having a seperate apartment on the 2nd floor so you could move them out here? :

Congrats, Bonni, that's too cool... I'm looking forward to the pics!

My computer crashed. I lost all my stuff, but more importantly, I lost the ability to post pictures from my computer.

Here's a picture of the bebe, ain't he a cutie? (I know, all babies look the same. )

Awesome.

Congrats to Mommy

Pretty cool when your babies have their babies. You get the fun and they get to change another diaper
Finally some justice for all the little poopies you attended to for her.
I bet you can't wait til you can hold him .

Looks like he's dreamin of the day Bimps and Gramma can teach him to ski!

What a cutie...Congrats again!

Congrats Bonni! What a great looking baby!

Ok Bonni , Now revisit the thread. Is it too early for the kid to ski.?

Get that boy out and let him roll in the snow like the Eskimo babies and he will always love the snow. But cry alot at first

After looking at these hospital photos, I'm sure he'll grow up to be a knuckledragger! Yeeps!:

He has this Freddie Mercury overbite. He's having trouble sucking, and throws up what he does get down. It's a puzzle right now.

Ging has an infection, fever and is on anti-biotics. Jeez. She's home alone.

Welcome to Motherhood!

Gee Bonni, I'm sorry I haven't been online very much. I missed the announcement.

Congratulations! I saw the picture and he's very cute.

I have three little ones here all under the age of three and, I'm frazzled to say the least.

Hope all is going well.
