I'm a Grandpa for the fourth time now.

My Daughter in Virginia Beach gave birth yesterday to another little girl.

Enjoy your grand kids; better than havin' your own...when they act up call the parents and tell them to pick 'em up!. We have a 3 year old granddaughter who is the center of our attention!

Lars, that's awesome! Congrats! She should be about ready for skis come winter...

Lars - Excellent news, congrats on the new little one (I guess that's mainly due to your daughter and son-in-law, but you can certainly share in the glory!).

Nothing better than being able to use all those little skis again, is there?

I feel like a Grandpa: 51, and my only son is 7.... Keeps me young (and ticked at times). Like my sister said, "there's nothing like a child/grandchild". Felicidades!!

Congrats! I hope you get down here to VA to see the new munchkin soon.

I'll be in VA Beach the week after next to do some training (not ski related).

Old friend Lars, I do envy you. May I live so long to know what it's like to have a grandchild.

Warmest congratulations!

When one life ends, another begins. :
Congratulations, Lars. Another girl to twist you around her finger, you old softie.

Lars, any chance you may post a pic of the new grandaughter?

Me Too!

Youngest daughter had a little girl (their first) on Sunday. This is the thirteenth (yes 13!) grandchild for me. Must be something in the water in Oz. Looking forward to starting her on the snow in a few short years.

Just for you trekchick.

Isn't she a cutie?

Lars - Bright eyes, sly smile.

You'd better watch yourself!! She'll have you wrapped around her finger in no time (as if it's not already done)!

Congratulations. To your daughter, as well.

Lars! You made me cry!
You are so fortunate! I am sure you will be a great grandpa!
She will love you as much as I loved my grandpa!

Does the smile tell it all or what.

Boy am I proud of this little guy.

He's lucky to be here. He was born premature by 15 weeks. Spent two months in the hospital before they let him come home. The Discovery Channel, Science, did a segment on his birth in Tacoma, Washington Army Hospital. It was televised last year. It was so neat.

He truely is a miracle baby.

If the smile when he's swimmin with grandpa in that melted snow, just imagine how much fun he'll have skiing with grandpa on the snow before it melts.

You look like you truely enjoy being a grandpa, as I would expect.
