If higher gas prices and progressive tax credits for all cars that got better than average mileage encouraged everyone to buy a car that got 1 mpg more, that would eventually reduce gas use by more than 5%. How many Prius's would you have to sell to match that?
As far as an RX400 goes, does that get better mileage or have more room than a Honda Element, or a Subaru Imprezza or Outback?
