If you or some of your friends are planning a trip to Chile, take a look...

If you´re coming for a week or so, Valle Nevado is probably your best bet. It has a great ski area of its own and its connected with El Colorado and La Parva, the largest area in the southern hemisphere, with a varety of terrain and more than a kilometer (3000ft) of vertical drop. The skiing here is pretty unique. The Central Andes are the second highest mountain range in the world and we actually ski in the middle of it with views of the very high (over 15000 ft high) sorrounding peaks and glaciers. During our season (mid june thru early october) we usually enjoy a unique combination of dry powder and surprisingly mild weather. We also feature empty slopes during weekdays.

I own a condo in Mirador del Inca (ski in/out) that confortably fits 7 people, its very close to the slopes and has a great view. It´s a very convenient no intermediary deal.
