I have finally decided on a pair of Dynastar Legend 8000. I was thinking of placing a pair of Tyrolia HD14 railflex bindings for added versitility. What do you guys think of this option? My thoughts are they added 35mm height of the binding plate might actually help the edging on the hard pack due to the increased angle (seems to make sense anyways). Also, the ability to move the binding forward and back on the ski might increase the versatility of the 8000. Eventhough the 800 is already highly versatile, if you move the binding forward it should increase the carving abilities and all around behavior of the ski on groomed runs. If you move the binding back on the ski it should improve the ability of the 8000 to take on deep powder. Does this seem like sound reasoning to you guys?
