Claudine Longet Alibi

Someone should check if Claudine Longet was in the area. Its important to check out all the leads. Shooting a female ski racer would be a switch for Claudine but you never know.

That's extremely funny.

interesting factoid inrecent NY Times article on murders in NYC over past five years or so.
Women were somewhat more likely to kill a current spouse/lover but never killed an ex. Only men killed exes

I think the estranged husband should give himself up and hire Claudine's husband/lawyer Ron Austin. If Claudne then splits with her lawyer/husband and marries the estranged husband, we might have the makings for a new book/movie called the Longet Gang in Aspen.

So, for safety's sake, men should dump their girlfriends/wives, and women shouldn't let them.

thats one way to look at it. Another is that men should never get into relationships nor should women. Or women should shoot them first when they split. Or just don't get involved with a jealous SOB.

husband foune dead

After three days, the hubsand was found dead; a gun was next to the body.

The Swiss seem a bit out of touch with their reality. There is now a lot of hand wringing about the statictics that indicate that most of the murders in Switzerland are from within the family, unlike the US where a high percentage of murders are from "outside" the family.

It hasn't dawned on them, that as a "fat" (dollar wise), culture, you are probably not going to get mugged by the banker next door.

This reminds me of one of the funniest Saturday Night Live bits from the early days. The Claudine Longet (or was it Spider Sabich) Memorial Race was a series of clips of racers and bumpers crashing and burning, accompanied by "Rifleman" sound effects.

Yuki thanks for the update. The suspense was killing me.

On a more serious note, I hate to hear about family fatalities like this. What a waste of life.

Good one Yuki. Don't forget cats like to knock off birds. We can't forget a famous cat versus Tweetie Pie. This shows the violence in cartoons.

This was inspired in part by a jazz song called "I Faw Down and Go Boom"
