Volant Addict Sighting

VA, I was chatting with my daughter, who goes to UM, yesterday. She said, "That guy from Missoula you talk about--does he have really long hair and a beard and look sort of like Father Time?"

You were featured in a video of skiing and kayaking that was shown to her Media Arts class. Thought you'd like to know that you had 15 minutes of fame yesterday.

Could it be related to the "apparently I'm photogenic" thread in the lounge?

If so, this thread is worthless without pictures . We are still waiting for the video to be posted where we can see it. Sounds great. For those not familiar with Volantaddict, he is indeed a sighting:

Priceless!

Edit: I posted at the same time as Cirque and my response is to what nolo's daughter said.

Looks like he is a member of the "Hairclub for Yeti's".

Well I have yet to get to see the thing, and am actually a bit miffed that I haven't been provided with a copy of it as I was promised. Sure they can show it at the college and before that at the taproom of a local microbrewery, but can they get a copy to the primary subject of it? NO. : (rant over)

Hey Nolo perhaps your daughter could inform the instructor that the subject of the piece would like to see it.

BTW I hear it's eight minutes, so it my eight minutes of fame, perhaps I'll get seven more at some point.

I mentioned it in another thread before, that a couple members of the ski patrol dubbed me "Father Time" (apparently they weren't the only ones to think it apropos), a name which spread to some of my friends who called me that the rest of the season.

There's the laugh we all know and miss. Damn, I'm all misty.

I think VA's video should be posted on Epic. Make it happen.

I will be glad to post it IF I ever get a copy of it myself.
