There will be a series of ski improvement clinics offered at A-Basin from Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 12. The emphasis will be on modern carving/race technique in free skiing and using a moderate-difficulty course set with stubbies. No protective gear will be needed. The appropriate skier level should be upper-level intermediate and above. Videotaping will be used each day.

The clinics are being organized by Williie Draper, an instructor/racer from Aspen. The coaches will tentatively include Crawford Pierce, a development coach with the U.S. ski team, George Perry, a trainer at Aspen and five-time member of the Australian Demo Team, and Eric Ward, a trainer at Aspen.

The clinics will be approximately $45 per day with a discount likely available for multiple days. Lift tickets are additional. The clinics will run from 9 AM through early aftrernoon. Register and pay at the ski school desk at 8:30 AM each day and meet in the cafeteria in the bar area at 8:45.

I've done these in past years and they are a lot of fun and very helpful!
