Oh what a day it was!

I went skiing last weekend with some friends of mine, and as we occasionally do, we shot some video.

Since I did the editing this time (and the shooting day 2) I get the option of posting it.

This is not for the faint of pipeline - 29MB. But if you're on broadband, enjoy!

(and, please, no MA!)

Note - if it chokes a bit on playback when it starts, just pull the slider back to the beginning and let it start over behind the download.

Some really nice skiing in there. Day 3 looked like it had a bit of tricky breakable crust. mmmm, my favorite. Nice to finally see the sun after months of winter weather. Thanks for posting.

The bandwidth was no problem with a 3000+ kbps pipeline, that file spooled in just a few seconds.

I like the first few turns when the music changes. Very nice - Talking Heads.

What a beautiful spot. Great skiing and you get to share it with your friends. Life is good.

SWEET!

Had a similar...(one in a handul...30 year times...) in Mammoth on April 1st this year...(no foolin') Dry, light Co. type pow..from a clipper than came down from Nevada and Wash. state/Oregon vs. the usual ocean direct cemet! Thanks for sharing.

Hey, thanks you guys!

We were thinking that was going to be the last of the pow this year, but got more snow this week. The horror! I guess corn season isn't quite here, although we did enjoy some of it last weekend that didn't get taped.

Fun sharing stuff like that with ski people...

Gee, I can't view it. brings up an ActiveX dialog box then shuts down explorer. Is there another way to get to it?

Well, that's no fun.

Are you on broadband? It's a big file and will choke dialup (I know, I tried it at home.)

I tried it on my Mac and PC both, IE and Safari (didn't try Netscape).
