One things for sure....if it is a Bear and he attends a Bear function.....there'll be no missing him!
So the plot thickens!:

It wasn't me, I know that much. I'd never deprive Phil of his fantasy suit.

That outfit is SWEEEEEEEET any guy would be lucky to ski in that. You would show up on the TGR, "Keepin it real" thread for sure. In particular Phil doing a heli in that outfit with some snoop daddy's on would be site to behold

I will be wearing it to Epic events. NOT at MRG though unless it is "Turn back the clock day".

You mean......there's a chance you WILL own this phenominal article of ski wear?

But another bidder......honeydipper, stole the bid right out from under your nose. There must be more to this story.
Do tell!

Yes, there is more to the story, and yes Honeydipper is a Bear...who along with a few other Bears have a certain 'admiration' for a certain Moderator...:

Honeydipper's recent purchase history includes two pairs of Volkl 725 skis including a new pair with bindings for only $215; two pairs of Flexon boots, a Warran Miller movie, and some hideous winter boots. Obviously Honeydipper is a unique character bearing considerable resemblance to our own Flexon Phil. We might need a phychic to figure this out ::: (or maybe Phil will just confess)

OK..here is the the scoop. Honeydipper is indeed a Bear, infact a fellow Moderator. HD decided that playing with me would be fun (another word for demented?). HD had a partner (at least one) in this action. I say action, and not crime, because some say to wear this in public will be the real crime.

Yesterday, I arrive home to find a package at my doorstep, as soon as I saw the return address, things start flashing in my head of conversations I have had over the past week with a certain Mod. Volkls...Uggs...two items that were in HD's Ebay purchase history. These clues didn't hit me at the time, but as in a "B movie" crime drama fashon, they all were coming back to me as I look at the package. I open the box and sure enough it is the S.O.S. suit. I am laughing/crying/screaming/and just full of appreciation that people I have never met, went so far out of thier way to do something so nice for me. There were Mods behind this "caper", I don't know who did what, but I know everyone had a hand in it. I am a member if a few forums, THIS is my home forum. There are few things that render me speechless, this has been one of them. There was a card that said the following...

"enclosed is the prototype of the EpicSki Mod Squad uniform. Wear your uniform with pride, and always remember that when you appear publicly in the uniform you represent EpicSki and your actions will reflect upon all of us."

Your Friends in administration and mod squad at EpicSki.

Thank You...Thank You...Thank You.

Saga complete?

I don't think so!
This will NOT be complete until you actually wear it at an Epic Event!

Those were clearly for someone else. I am a size 7.

but then the size 11 would go with the Sweater Phil has in mind.

We have certainly not seen the last of these timeless duds. BTW, one of the best parts of being a moderator is being able to change the title of a thread for continuation. Please bring back editing for the masses

Who says the saga is completed? Where is the photo?

I know! It won't fit, so I won't be able to wear it!

(psst-think Phil will go along with that?)
If he can squeeze into the coat, you certainly can let the sweater droop off your shoulders.

I still want to see photos of Phil in his new outfit.
hot water wash and drip dry, it can fit
