I'm more of a newbie that the rest of you, and have stepped in it a few times myself, not least for a really undiplomatic first ever post. I also got hammered so bad in the instruction area once for a simple (I thought) technical question that I left and haven't gone back. So this thread interested me. I went back and waded through the entire eBay/Atomic thread. Conclusions from an outside observer:
1) The web already has waay too much opinion and waay too little information. Although I haven't read you before, Betaracer, hope any rep/dealer/industry expert will stay around. Enriches all, even through disagreements.
2) Peer pressure seemed to work. Which is good, because the "tough skin" argument gets old when you're the one being hammered.
2) But the person called Mocny issued personal threats, which I understand to be a violation of this site's rules, and I'm unclear if he's still allowed to post. If he is, I'd like to know why from a moderator. Being sorry later about losing your temper shouldn't cut it here anymore than it would if you threaten someone face to face.
