My hope is that we can keep this simple, and without a lot of highly technical terms.
|posted by me: I do want to get better at skiing using less energy, as that is a problem. I'm not lazy, I just get tired because that is how my MS works. How do I ski more efficiently?
Also, I can't seem to get my head around some of the terms......I know them and can regurgitate them at will, but I've never felt it.
For example, I had trouble at ESA with some of the exercises, because I didn't 'get' what it felt like to 'roll my ankle'......what does that mean? I didn't get it. I still don't. I haven't had it explained to me in a way that I can visualize it, do it and Feel it. Angulation? I see it, but how is that done? What other things happen when you are 'angulated'? Timing with your poles? I find it upsets my timing, I ski over the baskets on occassion, they're in the way, and I am forever battling my poles. I do fantasic without them, yet people have told me I can't possibly be a good skier without them..........
