Hey, I´m new in here..
I´m supporting the US-ski-Team. My fave skier is/was Daron Rahlves, and so I´m a little bit sad, that he retired a few days ago (although I understand his decission at all..)

I guess some of you might be interested in his future a little bit, so I thought I´d share an interview I found today online, where he talks about his future and so on..
You find it here: http://redbull.com/harryegger (click on sports / white ride) enjoy it!

Unless Bode decides to specialize in the speed events, it looks like you'll have to be happy with cheering for fellow North Americans Erik Guay and Francois Bourque next year.

He did stroll in to the Jeep king of the hill finale...and took 3rd. Maybe he'll stick around for races like this.

Can I buy stock in Guay? That kid is quality, determination, and skill.

Looks like his younger brother Stefan might even be better when he graduates to the World cup.

I don´t have anything against Erik Guay and Francois B., but I guess Daron will be "replaced" by Steven Nyman and Bryan Friedman (<--hopefully he is able to compete next season again),- but I support almost all of the USST-guys (although I´m from Austria...)
.... but I´ll miss D being at the events for sure..

Erik Guay has been really strong last season,- it really sucked that he got injured!

Nope, but my Tivo captures almost all skiing events. I hope he sticks with at least some kind of ski racing. Would be a shame if he gave it up so early.
