Well I guess that about answers it. I remember reading an article about some very good pro skiers from out west going to an eastern resort, I forget which, and having a hell of a hard time in the trees. They felt that it was so tight they couldn't turn fast enough. They also didn't like the ice. As for me, I'm always flying out west, I can't get enough of Utah. I do wish I lived closer to northern VT. Jay Peak, Stowe and Sugarbush would be great to ski on a regular basis. Living on Long Island amkes that pretty hard to do.
