what bindings for axis k2 axis xp

ok I'm looking at some k2 axis xp skis, I have a new pair of marker 1200 piston control but was wondering if something else might work better, now I have read a lot of marker bashing so not looking for that, what I'm after is sound reasoning why a particular binding might be a better choice, one of my concerns is ease of putting the skis on in deep snow or steep terrain.

Have you had any problems with Markers? Those 1200's will be fine. I used to ski Markers on all my skis, but as my time in the park went up, I switched to Sallie Ti's to keep the weight down. In your case, just don't sweat it and ski those boards.

Sorry to stick my two cents in here, but I just got a great post season deal on a pair of K2's AXIS X skis. Can anyone tell me if a lifter plate should be used with whatever binding of choice goes on this ski. Or just mount the binding directly to the ski?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

I had some 1200 piston control on my axis x skis & have them on the axis x pros, get some bindings such as these that have some lift or add a lift plate, with some lift the axis x carves really well for a midfat.

Thanks, I'll look into a binding with a built in lift plate.
