The big winter storm that was supposed to materialise never quite did.
On Friday afternoon Environment Canada called for 10-15cm for the Banff-Calgary area.
I booked into Canmore Saturday to get a jump on everyone else and avoid potentally bad or closed highways.
As I hit the hay Saturday night the warning for Banff was removed and there was no snow in sight.
Calgary escaped virtually unscathed.
Luckily I awoke to 5cm which also dropped on Sunshine.

It was sunny for the morning and then snowed off and on in the afternoon.
Conditions are excellent!
