Any College Basketball Fans Here? - Page 2

Agree with Kevin F. Go GMU, only time in my life you'll ever hear me say go Patriots.

Today is the day!

The Final Four is finally here! Anyone care to call who will be in the Final on Monday night?

Here goes: I have officially drank the cool-aid. They have beat 3 of the past 7 champions. Until someone beats them, I'm a believer. Florida is a great group of talent. They SHOULD win. No offense gator fans, I just think Cinderella is actually wearing a green dress!

LSU is a tough out. They have size and quickness. Their length is fantastic. This game could be even uglier than last week's UCLA victory. The problem for UCLA: LSU will like that pace game.

So ... George Mason vs. LSU on Monday night! Who would have thunk it?

I'm going to bet on LSU to win it all, Chris. I don't think the LSU women's team will beat NC though. Ivory's a Latta Luv.

Sorry chrisfish - we had to send Cinderella home from the ball. You had to believe that Florida was just too strong for the boys in green. Florida has smacked every opponent except Georgetown - the only close game they had.

Cinderella's slipper just broke!

Congrats to a gutsy GMU team. Congrats to all the Gator fans out there! The only one who is real upset is probably CBS. Not much to market. They could at least market Cinderella.

Noodler, I thought every team GMU played was too strong! Michigan St, UNC, UCONN! Hey, everyone faces a matchup that doesn't work for them. They still had the tournament run of my lifetime!

Good luck Gator nation!

Now, go LSU!

Just about halftime ...

of the second game. Maybe I meant that LSU and George Mason would be in the consolation IF they still had one! Yikes am I horrible at predicting these games!

All right then. I am staying with NC to win the WNCAAs and calling for UCLA to win the men's, since that might give Gonzaga's Adam Morrison a reason to return for one more year.

What ya gotta do around here to find the love? The Gators don't seem to attract too many fans from the skiing population I guess.

So you've got a gator and a bear in the matchup. Who do you think is gonna win that battle? Chomp, Chomp, Chomp... :

NC went down. Seems all I need to do is root for a team for them to lose. Be happy I like the Bruins, Noodler.

Nolo ...

You understand my pain! I haven't done worse on a bracket since I started doing these things 18 years ago! That is part of what makes it fun, I guess!

I am hoping the UCLA Florida game tonight is at least an enjoyable basketball game. I would like to see a real tight championship game.

Womens side - Duke Maryland --Wow! The game has come a long way! When I was younger if Texas Tech, Tenn or UCONN wasn't in it, there was a major problem! The talent is getting better and being spread around much more. Good luck terps and devils!

Gators are #1!

Florida won with style! They rolled through this tournament so quietly it may take a few days for the college basketball "talking heads" to figure out what happened. Here is what happened.
1. Donovan had a bunch of young kids that were willing to be coached.
2. They played together with no selfishness.
3. They played team defense.
4. They played both ends of the floor with perfection for 6 straight games!

Congrats to the gator nation!
They were truly dominant and Noah was a stud! Can you say "LOTTERY PICK"!

Maybe now all of the SEC haters will stop trashing the conference when Kentucky is having a bad year! Please stop with Kentucky!

Yes, it was an impressive showing for the Gators. Is Noah's Dad Milli or Vanilli?
You can call him anything you want, just don't forget to mention that French Open Championship!

That was a powerful looking win for the Gators. Even I was surprised. Billy Donovan has built a hell of a program there. I met him in his first year at a pizza place in G-ville. He's truly down-to-earth gracious guy who's willing to take time for fans.

Nolo, consider Augustana College in Rock Island, IL.

Okay--why Augustana College, Steve? (Check out the football helmets: http://www.augustana.edu/athletics/!)
