But with that said, I got to ski every night for a whopping kids rate of something like $1.50 .... and I did. Weekends were on to the Poconos and later Vermont.
It was also on those early rope tows that I got arms like an eggplant from holding on. There is a lot to be said for being able to ski every night for the price of a "sack of grease burgers" ..... they were a $1 for a sack of five back then.
Our "black run" was four or five turns to the bottom, but I relished every turn.
