As for "...if he had killed someone", He didn't. I'm pretty sure last Sunday was really late night saturday. Normally there aren't groups of 8 yr olds playing ball in the street at 2am. If he had an accident, which he didn't, it would more than likely have been with some other drunk, not a group of school kids or girlscouts like MADD would have us believe.
He broke the law. He made a terrible judgement error. Bad, bad Jeremy.
"He did'nt" only because he got lucky!!!, as did any potential victim !!
people are killed everyday across North America by Drunks who are To drunk, stupid and or arrogant to believe that they could kill someone from behind the wheel.
How dare you imply that Mothers Against Stupid Drunk Drivers is only running a propaganda campaign.
Other stupid Drunks are NOT the only people on the road at 2am. There are tons of cases where a sober responsible driver, say driving another STUPID drunk home is killed by a different STUPID drunk! how about shift workers or a Dad picking a son or Daughter up from an airport, you get the idea??
I don't care Who's ski hero he is !! If he is guilty, he is just another STUPID drunken potential killer.
Oh yea and by the way I enjoy an apres ski, Hockey, biking beer once in a while, partied hard when I was younger
(and slept in my van when I had to) but as a husband and father there is just to much to lose to condone drinking and driving in our society.
