Sorry, Gnarlito, you're busted too!

Phil's rules say: They have to be from skiing lore, past or present.

Paul's blues harp is formidable, but unless he can play it on a blue groomer, he's off the lift!

There are so many Bears I want to put on this lift, that I would need a tram.

Ingemar Stenmark (If there is a ski god on earth) , Daron Rahvles (I think Hemingway said, to paraphrase, that as we got older it was harder to find heroes, but still important.), Pope John Paul II (Yep, sure was a skier).

Yes, that could make for an interesting and enlightening day.

Phil, can I have a gondola instead of a quad lift? There are way to many that I want to ride the lift with I dont' want to leave any out.

If I were FORCED to fill a chair lift

Non Plus Ultra

1. Mathias Zdarsky - we're talking history here!

2. Ingemar Stenmark - doesn't get any better than him!

3. Pope John Paul II - god loves us, that's why he gave us mountains,
snow, gravity and taught us to ski!

what, nobody's mentioned Billy Kidd?

And what about that half-pint Bridger?

Oh and that stoner Spicoli dude from P-Tex, Lies, and Ducttape who kept calling folks "cupcakes" (I think he was a Telluride local).

Cirque ,VA and Trekchick. ::We would certainly have a great time.
Famous people might be overrated but friends are the opposite. You never get to appreciate friends you have made til you get to spend some time with them .

I'm not sure I have goggles substantial enough for the snow spray off those B3's. I may have to make sure I stay out front.

1. Ingrid Backstrom
2. Hugo Harrison
3. Hermann Maier

Last year I was stuck on a lift at Sun Peaks with David Suzuki for 30+ minutes. Driving up the day before that my wife and I had done the "who would you invite to dinner? 1 living person, 1 from history" thing.

Suzuki was my answer and hers.

One day after "hanging out" with Mr. Suzuki, I shared a lift with 3 speed skiers. They were just great. I'd watched them ski 100mph all weekend. When we parted I told them it was an honour to share the lift with them, and I meant it.

there some cool names, like Ingemar Stenmar. my 3 people would be.

1) Wayne Wong this fella is the godfather of freestyle skiing
2) Ken Read
3) Steve Podborski

the last 2 fellas are the founding mambers of the crazy canucks ski team. They are also pioneers in their disipline.
