Sometimes a snow cave is a bad idea.

I understand this was a snow cave camper v. rotary snowplow event. Sad for his family and for the snowplow driver. I also understand that the camper made the mistake of building his snow cave in some deep snow, which had been left in the parking lot by plows on earlier plowing ventures. The parking lot is huge and is only fully used on very busy days. This means a large fringe of snow is left to build up at times.
