I think Pyeong Chang should win, so that they will have do deal with all their unfairness and communism and get democratic just like China and Beijing has to do for their Olympics in 2008.

Salzburg should be a good city, but a bit dull, so I think North Korea should have it, it would be really good for the population to get some attention to the government and what they're really doing to their people.

If korea does it like 1988 We can look forward to many gold medals from that power house korean ski team It wasn't good then ,I doubt it will be any better.
We could have Roy Jones Jr. light the flame and Un Yong Kim can handle the financials.

PyeongChang is in SOUTH Korea, not north.

Yea I do not believe south korea is communist carlE, though I may be wrong. Although I do agree that it would be interesting if north korea got the games...however.....I don't think wreckless nuclear powers should really be awarded the olympic games.(then I guess we here at the us are excluded as well?)

Think about it:

It's gotta be on the Asian continent, as 2006 was Europe and 2010 will be NA. If you don't think that the IOC doesn't play favorites and likes to distribute the wealth then.....

Anyway, PyeongChang had one of the strongest bids last time around and is still very interested in hosting.

Powdr

Uh, that was the Summer Olympics that South Korea hosted in '88.
Austria has hosted the Winter Games twice and the USA has hosted the Winter Olympics four times.

Yea it boggles the mind that whiteface/lake placid had the olympics twice considering the array of options available in the us and the low quality of skiing there. I spose NY had the money necessary....and race courses are supposed to be icey anyway right? hehe Hasn't even lowly Mont Tremblant been the ski area for the olympics when they were hosted by montreal? This just in:Camelback, PA to host the 2018 winter games...oh I crack myself up

I like the idea of Jaca Spain. I watched the Spanish crowds during the Tour de France, and they were terrific.
