It must be Tuesday...Phil bought new skis.

Well, new to me. Yes, I have these 07 M11 B5's, but I am hesitent of taking them out of the wrapper. I might swap them for 176's when they become available next year. So all I had with me in Maine was my wooden skis and the FB's, since neither of these are "everyday" skis for spring conditions...it was off to the ski shops and see if either I could salvage a cheapo deal or trade the M11's for something. It was the first. jack Frost ski shop had a pair of Volkl 724 Pros real cheap, so I picked them up.

The skis were in 8/10 condition wise so I figured what the hey, get them. I did pack some extra bindings, jig and a drill so mounting them was not an issue. They are 170's, I would have prefered 177's but under the conditions, they will work just fine.

It is a good thing I wasn't going to buy any gear this year.

Did you trailer an entire shop with you?

Phil, must have a 40,000 sq foot warehouse for all his gear.

Does Phil really ski or does he just accumulate gear?

How many pairs of shoes does your Wife have in the closet?

Phil,

That's quite a different ski than you normally ski. You know that's my ski. I say they are like skiing a truck. You gotta work em, but they really are worthy. They will do tight turns if you're on em. They love to go fast too - Super G turns (not that I know what Super G turns even are). They have served me well.

I give you 4 runs!

I had no problem with them in teh heavy mashed potatoes we had here at Sunday River and they were also pretty good in the bumps.

I like mine in the bumps, but they are no bump ski. Becareful - they will bend. Did you get a chance to open em up? I think they are a great ski. Tried the AC 4 and that's a great ski but the side cut seems to make it squirly. I don't like that trait. Better to work the turn. Besides my son says I'm a squirl. That's not very nice.

It is Tuesday again...I bought some skis, not for me but for a fellow Bear(ette). I found an awesome deal on some Burnin Luv's. BTW, I bought some Volkl AC2's for my mother-in-law yesterday, she is such a sweet lady.

where does that put you on pairs this year? i think your going to hit 6

I'm feelin the Luv Phil.
First Fox demos them for me(Can't imagine the grief he took for demoing a woman ski)
Now you buy them for me.
This Lady Bear feels very spoiled.

Thanks to both of you! Ben & Jerry's is on me at Stowe

Gee Trek, that makes Teledaddys and Burnin luvs for you this week alone. If I didn't know better I'd say, whatever gear disease Phil had, you caught.

Now, who gets credited with what number of skis. I had Phil on the line for more than 6. Do the skis bought by Phil for others count?
