I recently had the guy at my local ski shop tell me I shouldn't put my bottom of the line tyrolias on my new k2 mach s skis, because it would be a weak link. Previously, I was of the opinion that for the most part, a binding is a binding. Sure there are perfomance differences, but they are very slight and hard to notice, unless you are racing or something. He reccomended the salomon 912 Ti. Is he just trying to get me to spend more money, or should I really drop $200 dollars on new bindings?
