If you are a strong technical skier, you will likely dig it for carving up the whole hill. If you ski out West, a mid fat is much better in variable natural snow conditions, and still carves real well on piste. I had a blast on the 160 T Power 9S plate at trade fair two years ago. I am about your height, but 30 lbs heavier. Actually, I recall it being fun off piste too, but not a big platform. Did you notice the toe is lifted on the plate? You will!
