BTW... Park City charged full fare after the Bonanza lift broke down in early February. I showed up about noon for a half day lift ticket. I had used the machine to buy my ticket, then when I got to the lift line, they said... "oh by the way, the lift to the upper mountain is broke....". Frankly, I was pretty philosophical about it... just glad I wasn't stuck on that lift. So, I don't know if the human ticket sellers were offering a discount. Now, I know why not to buy from a machine. On the other hand people buy those lift tickets all over, from the hotels, etc. I suspect there was some kind of karma involved in that lift gear breaking.
