Naxo / Fritschi bindings

thinking of mounting rando bindings on my new skis, but noticed that they look like they sit quite high off the ski; i'm wondering if they feel any different because of this of if it's simply a bit of an optical illusion?

I have a pair of Naxo N01 on my AT skis and I don't notice any real issues related to boot height. to me the biggest difference in using AT equipment is that AT boots have less power and fit less well than a good powerful alpine boot, and therefore they don't drive the ski as well as, nor do they give the same ski and snow feel as a good alpine boot.

to me the bindings feel about the same as an alpine binding in every condition except bulletproof hardpack and true ice, where you can feel some slowness in response (flex?).
