I have a couple of pairs of old road skis that I use early in the season when the only areas ski-able are logging roads, etc. They are starting to get some surficial scratches, some of which run for 4 or 5 inches. I'm thinking of just planing their rough egdes and filling the ruts with an iron on glide wax. Just wondering if anyone deals with this. None of the scratches are deeper than the ptex base.
