Try these out for holding tools to side edge bevelers.
1 1/2" size. Use 45 degrees to length of beveler.
I am using them instead of spring clamps.
They sell them at Homeless Despot and
other places.

What do you like about them better than the clamps?

Steve, they hold the tools down nice and flat.
Sometimes the combo of tool and brand of beveler
makes spring clamp placement tricky. I still use handgrip
to ensure a tight fit. The Irwin gives a nice tight
"purchase". Have not used them that much yet,
but probably will retire spring clamps.

RShea, yes i have tried the locking version.
The Irwin works better.
