I'm heading up to S'bush this weekend. I'll let you know how conditions are. The snow last weekend was very light and didn't stick to the firm base too well. More up slope snow is expected this weekend.
The Bush is skiing great - I was up there on Tuesday, Castlerock is open and skiable with a little respect for conditions. Anything that was manmade snow to begin with is great and all the natural snow trails are holding up well. They're calling for dustings each night/day for the next couple of days, so that should treat us well.
I was at Sugarbush this weekend. The light and fluffy powder snow was epic! The many lifts on wind hold were a major bummer. If you are going this week I would head to Sugarbush North first as it was on complete windhold on Fri & Sat. Castlerock was awesome skiing this weekend, but the lift lines were a ~20-25 minutes the upside was the goods stayed in place. The bumps were epic. Be advised that the wind scoured some places and drifetd deeply in others. I'm over 6 feet and had crotch if not waist deep powder in places and saw bare dirt in a few places too.
