Legend 8800 - Are there two models?

It seems that the Legend comes with measurements of 117 89 110 and 117 89 104. Are there differences between the two other than the tail measurement? Are they both current year models? Do they ski differently? Thanks in advance.

If there are 2 models of this years or last years 8800, that's news to me. I know of only the 117-89-110 version for this and last year.

Maybe the other one is next years version, although I heard of no changes other than graphics.

I've actually seen the one with the 104 tail and I've alos seen it for sale on epey. Otherwise, I wouldn't have believed it either.

No confusion over the Pro and 8800.

Finally got a response from the guy on epay. He acknowledged that his listings were wrong on the longer length skis. He stated that the 8800s measure 117 89 110 in lengths 188 and 178. On the shorter lengths, 168 and 158, the skis measure 117 89 104.

MJB, the narrower tailed versions will skid more easily, if that's a concern for you. what I mean is, they're easier in steep terrain and bumps because they don't have as much tendency to lock you into a carve.
