Until you get to Tahoe the only serious mountains are in Southern Oregon where its currently raining and suppose to rain all week. The first 4 passes between Canyonville & Grants are all 2,000 feet or less which will be below the snowline. The last pass, Siskiyou Pass, is right before the California border (about 15 miles from where I'm sitting right now typing this message) and the weather prediction is for snow off and on the next couple days. Fortunately, they will be running the plows all day so you should be able to get over without a problem though there might be some delays. If you're looking to ski you can get off the exit right before Siskiyou Pass and head to Mt. Ashland, http://www.mtashland.com
, which is where I've skied most of my life. They are expecting powder (of a heavier nature) most of the week.
