What are your top ten things to try at Whistler/Blackcomb? Since there is so much terrain and so little time on the typical ski vacation, I was wondering what should be on top of the list for things to do for an expert skier with 5 days.
first thing you do, go buy the advanced/expert guide to whistler sold in pretty much every shop, $23. read it, its awesome, go to the index at the back and do the following runs on whistler:
west cirque, couloir, excitation, exhilaration, flute.. and if you can, find a local to take you to khybers. on blackcomb, blowhole to sapphire chutes, ruby/diamond bowl, false face, hawaii 5-0, and uh pipeline i guess (teetering isn't skiable).. and if you can, find a local to take you to doa. if you want to huck, air jordan is a double cliff right by peak chair, when standing in line, look to your right and you'll see it.. the waterfall below it is also a very popular spot.. on blackcomb krakatoa is a line that has two mandatory airs.
