I'm glad you're coming to JH and I wish I would be able to meet up with you. I'll be gone the entire time you're here, however. I'll be in Valdez
On the subject of where to go: I don't know if you've seen it or not, but I wrote up a little summary of the more difficult inbounds skiing at JH. It might be of some help when you come out. You can find it here:http://forums.epicski.com/showthread.php?t=16592&highlight=steeper+skiing+gu ide+jackson+hole
As to backcountry skiing, I don't ever give out much in the way of suggestions or directions on this forum. Because there are so many variables about the out-of-bounds skiing here, I'm not comfortable with simply broadcasting routes. Interestingly enough, two skiers just spent last Thursday night lost in Granite Canyon (just west and north of the ski area) because they got disoriented in a blizzard and went down the wrong drainage. They're lucky to be alive.
PM me if you would like. Our skiing has been phenomenal.
