99% of my skiing has been in the Sierras. I was reading one of the posts about fat skiis vs skinny skiis for spring time sloppy snow skiing. My Gotamas have increased my fun factor tremendously. I noticed that east coast guys like skinnier skiis than west coast guys. Is that because there is a real difference in how the snow sets up in spring or is just a mind set thing. I've noticed that in general that east coast guys like shorter and skinnier skiis than west coast guys. I know that the Sierra snow pack has a considerably higher water content than points east. Does that make a difference come spring time?
