Why have my last (and only) two posts in several months gone?

I haven't posted here in a long while. I posted in two threads last week, the posts were there yesterday and now they're gone. Completely. I can't even find them with a search. Anyone else have this happen?

As I recall there was post just a few days ago from some other guy having probems seeing his own posts. I couldn't find it, but you may be able to. I don't remember what the conclusion was.

It's probably because he is using the New Posts button to look for things and he's read that topic, so it's not appearing -- only showing unread topics.

I don't know - he said he also tried doing a search.

Well, you and I found his posts. (I started to post them, then saw you had.) If he can, we can.

Yeah, I'm prolly banned and don't even know it, Fidds.
Sibhusky's right. I use New Posts. Why wouldn't they show up that way? They used to. Then, when I couldn't see them I did a search and they still didn't show up. If you guys found them I won't worry about it. For now. I hope someone will let me know if I'm censored or something...

There are only a few people on this entire site of 10000+ members who are banned. If you were, you would know it....

If you search in the admin or announcements you should find posts by SSH about changes to settings affecting new posts functions and such. I've found the same problem as you until someone else posts in a thread. If you go to all subscribed threads it doesn't even seem to show up there by times. It's kind of weird the effect the changes have had and I don't think I like them.

Yes I agree, this change is one I don't like either.

I do find it a bit disconcerting that something I just posted in doesn't appear anymore, but am willing to put up with it because of the ease of finding the actual new activity now.
