My boot center is .75 cm behind the center mark on the ski. I prefer to be forward of center with Volkl but at least should be centered, especially on a 170 cm ski. Looking at the binding, it appears there is only one position for the mounting pin (pin locks in a slot recessed in the ski). Unlike the rail binding, both the heel and toe move when the boot-size-dial is turned. So I would think this problem exists regardless of boot size. Both my local shops said nothing can be done. I am hoping they are wrong - how could they incorporate such a gross design flaw? Any experts on this out there? Should I try to contact Volkl?
