Thanks for the help!
So what's "poder?" Don't know if I've skied any in Utah. . .
She's about my size, though I'm more of an advanced/expert skier, spending about 80%+ of my time off-piste.
I am personally not a big fan of the B2W. Even though it's a higher end ski, if she is really planning to progress she might find that she's not a huge fan either. It's not a bad ski, per se, but it didn't really have the spark I'm looking for when I demo. I found it to be so damp as to be totally dull and to have no zing out of the turn. Haven't skied the Siam, so I can't comment there. Great that she's trying women's skis. I was anti-chick-ski for a long time, but as another petite lady, I am finding that they offer some really great performance geared toward someone small.
PP does have a good point, too. It's probably good for her to try the higher-end skis in combination with intermediate boards and see if she can have a good time on them, before buying something that she may *outgrow* in a season or two. And good to demo extensively as well, because too much ski can be as bad (or worse) than too little!
Has she tried (or does she have any interest in trying) K2's women's skis? I am a big fan, and I find they really suit a small woman. I ski the Lotta Luv, which might be a bit too much ski for her at this point. . . or maybe not, if she's looking for a wide waist, in the 153cm. They do surprisingly well on the groomers, for something with such a wide waist.
