Big Mountain on Radio Tower

OK, since I haven't written and posted my Big Mountain trip report yet, I thought I could at least post a picture. This is me skiing Radio Tower at the end of March 2006. It was steep and deep!

I need some help here. With a file size restriction of 97.7kb how can I post an image larger than a postage stamp? What specs are used?
Thanks

Martino, that's a GREAT picture! He looks like he's perfectly at home in the powder...

Martino, most of us post our pictures on sites such as Biglines.com so we can link to the URL and have bigger pictures.

When did you take this Martin? Fairly recently? The coverage looks really good?

When attaching images cut the resolution back to 96 or less dpi (screen resolution),
then size to 1026 x 768 or 800 x 600. It will usually fit the 97 kb size limit. This is an attachment from
earlier this year (read the link properties). No postage stamp, but only 55.9 kb.

I'll give this a 'shot'...

Here's a couple of shots from SnowWater heli-skiing in B.C. from January this year.

tree skiing in February

This is my second attempt to upload a pic that is large enough to actually see. Not quite there but thanks to Cirquerider I am on the right track. There is still something weird because my pic is in a box that says "attached images."

Can't seem to edit the orignal post, but if I could I would add:

EDIT: I think I took this from Pacer Face in Whistler Bowl. If anyone can tell where I was, please say.

Make sure your saving the image in Jpeg format. If it's still too big you can increase the jpeg compression(file size reduction) by going to the Options section. To change resolution, as was mentioned before, go to Image, click on Resize and you can change the resolution to 72dpi, more than adequate for this purpose. A third option is to download some free software which can reduce the size while keeping good quality. Very simple to use. I have been using Jpeg Optomizer for years.
