Definitely. Noodler didn't lose consciousness--or his memory... :

I hope I can have another chance to meet you guys at the summit.
We were probably there and gone before you got there; we met at the Red Lion about 3... So sorry, Iccarus! We would have loved to have had a chance to say good-bye. And I hope that we'll see you again next year...

Words can't express my appreciation for Uncle Louie and all he put into making this happen. I am only sorry that I was limited to 3 days. I met many great people again this year and hope to see them and more next year. I know UL is on his long trip back to the right coast. May the trip be fast and safe. Early baby boomers will remember this one from their childhood:

Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.
Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.

Some trails are happy ones,
Others are blue.
It's the way you ride the trail that counts,
Here's a happy one for you.

Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.

For those who don't recognize it: theme song to the "Roy Rogers Show."

My best to all of you. See ya on line next fall and hopefully in the mountains next winter. LewBob

Tribute montage

WOW -- Let's Go Colorado II was just the icing on the cake -- a great finale to an already great season! So all thanks for Uncle Louie for putting it altogether, guiding us around, and sticking through all of hit foot and back pains.

It was great to meet a lot of Bears, from near and far. Hope we'll get to make more turns down the years.

Here is a final contribution/tribute for LGCII -- a photo+video montage (the Windows Media version is much better quality): Looking forward to LGC2.5!

I asked him the same question and the answer is yes. He used a machine (I think) to buff them. I also couldn't figure out why snow didn't stick to them, but I won't give away his secret formula-that's up to him! LewBob

Totally Fab with a capital F! Post dates for LGC2.5 and we'll allmake our travel plans. Can you promise another season of spectacular snow??

Hello from the Flailer Trailer—ha ha!

Milt just parked the RV…we are happy to be back home for a while! We checked the website and had to say how much we enjoyed looking at all of your lovely pictures and movies! We laughed and learned a little too.

Louie, we are so glad we met you on the chair lift that day at Deer Valley. It’s been such fun learning more about skiing. We only wish we had met more of you folks sooner! Mr. F. and I will try very hard to ski with more of you next season.

Everyone, have a wonderful summer!

Mrs. F.

My son Alex and I are the unidentified lurkers who skied at Copper on 4/21. We live in Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.

We had a wonderful time skiing at Copper and enjoyed meeting all the Bears that day. I hope to make it out next year with sons 2 and 3.

Great job, faisasy! Quicktime version looked great to me!

Sorry I missed it, had to be a great time!

I'm thinking of coming out in about a week ...anyone still skiing?
Hi Chris- I don't know if I will have any week days in the next week, but I plan to go up on Sunday. The May call schedule is due out any day now, so I will know about mid week days soon.

As far as still skiing goes- it's not over 'till it's over, and after that there is always the back country!
That's the spirit, Dave!

I get in 5/4 and will be skiing 5/5-5/9 (maybe 5/10).

See ya soon,

Chris

Marigee and Alex, thanks so much for letting us know who you are! I tried to keep track of everyone who skied but I wasn't at Copper that day so I never had the chance to connect with you! Maybe next year we'll make some turns together!

Next year I need to do a better job of planning to catch up with you guys.
"They" was me. It's over, my friend. But, when you're ready for 2.5 and 3, we'll stick it.

...and, yes, Coach13, you do. I'll let you know when I'll be up there so you can be sure to catch Uncle Louie on the days I'm not...
