Vail has "Spring Back to Vail" prices posted for April 16th-23rd. You CAN NOT find them advertised unless you click on BUY TICKETS at the web site. $ 109 for up to 4 days.......$ 159 for up to 6 days.
I am told by another member that they are also seeing the same rate on Vail tickets at Expedia starting April 3rd. I have no idea why Vail is not doing the same and have called to check....neither do they ! Any ticket bought at Vail is also good at Breckenridge/Keystone/Beaver Creek and A-Basin.
In the past other Bears who work at areas may have discounts or freebees...If you do...please add to the thread and tell us.
Any chance Vail is going to further reduce prices? As I recall they usually hold off until mid March before announcing this so they can continue to fleece the Texans and the stockbrokers. Last year was any 6 days between April 2 and closing (April 19) for $ 119.
Turntable Inn in Minnturn is $ 34.95 a night in April for very basic accomodations in Vail Valley, but then when I stay there I use the Saloon as my living room (see separate post).
Also, anyone who has a season pass at Copper can get up to 4 daily tix at $ 36 a day, they may further reduce this for April. If you have the Rocky Mountain Super Pass (as I do) the deal includes Winter Park as well.
Copper condos are really booked out this year for March, must be the great snow. Either that, or everyone from southern Colorado and New Mexico is coming north because there is no snow.
I'm up for this so keep posting.
